Garlands are the perfect beginner project for any macramé enthusiast! It’s just a mini hanging that you repeat a few times and voila, you have a garland.
It’s such a fun project to make and makes for a cute décor. Think, baby rooms, back of wedding chairs, birthday parties, sports color themes and so on.
As you know, I love it when people get creative with these patterns so mix it up and add painted beads, different color combinations and play around with a triangle point or just a square pattern.

Tips and Advice
⋒ Please read through all the instructions before starting. This is to understand the general steps to prepare for.
⋒ Filler cords are cords that you knot ONTO, while as working cords are used to create the knots.
⋒ It is helpful to have an anchor for beginners. Tape down your hanging cord (after attaching the cord) to your desk or work space.
⋒ Key things to remember: – You can always untie and redo. – Filler cord should be held taut as you knot onto the filler cord. – Use the painters tape to create pointy ends to thread your wooden beads. Use plain overhand knots (or barrel knots!) to hold the beads in place.
